raya raya!!
hey babes. whaddupp? so today is the 26th day of us muslims fasting in this holy month. n guess what? 5 more days we're celebrating raya!! wo0w..cant wait for it! ppl say that the older we are, the lesser the raya fun we'll have. really? i dunno. im still enjoying it. mybe bcause im still eligible to get my angpau.eheh. why? well im still unemployed thats y..duhh.
hmm most of my mates already got their jobs. how fast they are?or let's say..how slow i am?haha i dnt mind..it's just that each of us has our very own future. that's right. just great or bad it is that differenciates the level and status of we n our mates. itupun if u wish to compare la kan..to me, not all of us are lucky and we have our different lives. so, dont compare urself to others!
so..let's talk about the upcoming raya! how's ur preparation? baju raya, kasut raya, rambut for raya, house chores, etc.?? well i got myself a baju kurung, a pair of simple flats and this year im wearing shawl. lol. how funny will i look in it? let's see few more days i'll surely upload the comel comel pic of mine during raya. since it's my first time changing my top style..kinda excited to try this new look!! ahh tetibe plak aku rase cam gediks.zzz
what else..oh, what about kuih raya? well this year my mum and i changed the cookies range. just trying to break the booringg, same old cookies we had these few years back like the cornflakes with honey, the sarang semut, choc chip etc etc.. this year we still have the pineapple tarts, the hazelnut squares, almond london (new and modified), the dip-in-choc cookies, and the lame samperit (which i've ruined the original taste to modernized butter cookie. sorry, mama. blame the recipe..:P) well..these are all we've completed for now..pics?nahh..xbest la if i show them to u now. i mean,for those who wish to come to my place la kan.hee.. well..i'm still browsing for more recipes in the cooking book. ouh and yes, we'd like to try mama carries. the old classic cookies that me n mum tried few times but the icing topping neva worked. disaster. urghh..
so this year im looking forward to be more active visiting my frens' houses and u guys shud come to mine too! ok, guess that's just it for today. so,SALAM AIDILFITRI everyone..maaf zahir+batin. hahaha. cheers :D
